		<description>It&#039;s a shame that strict rules like that are ever implemented. When used properly, it&#039;s a wonderful tool - especially with the extra date/time types introduced in SQL Server 2008.

		<description>I love the datetime datatype, but alas we are banned from using it at work, we are forced to use the unix timestamp instead... Which I guess is faster... somewhat, but less human readable and needs to be converted almost every time it is used...</description>
